Welcome to the great town of Harrison, New Jersey … Home of the Blue Tide Spirit, the Red Bull Arena and the Red Bulls international soccer team. We are here to serve the people and local businesses in our community. We are also here for those looking to move their families or businesses into our great town. This site was created to help you learn and understand our community structure, research our history, and inform you of local events. On this site, you will be able to find out when and where town meetings will be held, locate local businesses, pay traffic tickets online, and much, much more.

Harrison is a great town to live in. We have a very low crime rate, video surveillance to ensure the safety of our citizens, a very good school system, a wide variety of places to eat and different cultures for that unique dining experience and an excellent night life. We provide great care for our senior citizens with their own facility, transportation and much more. We are a community that takes pride in our town and we hope you will too.

Harrison is located in the middle of the Tri-State area and convenient for all commuters with its own New Jersey Path station. You are only 2 to 3 minutes away from Newark, NJ, home of Bear Stadium, NJPAC and the Prudential Center, home of the NJ Devils. You are 10 minutes away from Jersey City, 15 minutes away from the City of Hoboken and 20 to 25 minutes away from New York City, the Big Apple.

Any Harrison resident who would like serve as a volunteer on any of the various Town boards (e.g., Library Board, Zoning Board, Board of Health, etc.) should submit a resume and board preference (if any) to Joan Woods, Admin.
