On April 14, 2024, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Frank E Rodgers Blvd on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene until police arrived. The victim, who was identified as a juvenile suffered injuries to her leg and scratches to her arm. Officers were able to make contact with the juvenile's mother who accompanied her to University Hospital for further treatment. No tickets were issued to the driver of the vehicle.
