On January 20 at 1AM, Sergeant Corey Karas and Officer Matt Murphy were engaged in Crime Suppression when they observed three males near Cleveland Avenue involved in what they believed was a drug transaction. They allowed the three males to disperse and approached and detained the seller. After a brief investigation, an interview and subsequent search revealed the suspect, 20 from Harrison, had just sold marijuana to the other two individuals. Officers arrested the suspect and charged him with possession and distribution of CDS. They also seized a large amount of suspected marijuana.
