On March 21 at 3AM, Officer Pat Triano was patrolling near FER and Harrison Ave when he observed a vehicle travelling north and swerving into oncoming traffic numerous times. He conducted a motor vehicle stop and was assisted by Officer Amaris Gracian. The driver, a male, 31 from East Orange, had slurred speech and could not keep his balance once out of the vehicle. He was arrested for DWI and processed at headquarters. Breath testing confirmed he was nearly twice the legal limit.
