On November 11, 2019, at approximately 8 PM, PO Murphy and PO Lecca were in the area of Hamilton Street and the Route 280 Overpass when they detected an odor of marijuana. Police observed a group of individuals walking away from their patrol car. The officers were able to determine the odor of marijuana was emanating from the group. Police stopped the group and one of the individuals admitted to police he was smoking and turned over a small cellophane package containing marijuana. The 17 year old male was placed under arrest and released to his parents with a Juvenile Complaint.
