On January 2, 2020, at approximately 7 PM, PO Gonzalez and PO Silva were in
the area of 2nd Street and Warren Street when they observed a
vehicle run the red traffic signal. They conducted a motor vehicle stop
and upon approaching the driver, they detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage
emanating from his mouth. The driver was asked to step out of the vehicle
to perform the Standard Field Sobriety Tests. At the completion of the
tests, the driver was placed under arrest. He was later released from
police custody to a responsible party.
