On 12/30/2022 at approximately 1027 hours, HPD was dispatched to the 200 block of Sussex street on a report of theft from a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle in his driveway on 12/28/2022 at approximately 1800 hours and when he returned at approximately 1027 hours he noticed the driver side door was slightly open and his car was rummaged through. The victim was unsure if his doors were locked. The suspect got away with approximately $63 worth of items.
